Meet Kaylee
Kaylee Delahunt (BSc Hons) Children’s Physiotherapist
Hello!
I am Kaylee, the founder of High Peak Children’s Physiotherapy and a Specialist Children’s Physiotherapist living in Glossop, in the High Peak.
I am a mum to a gorgeous, football mad 7-year-old. When I’m not busy running him around from one sports club to another you will find me in the gym and or out on a walk!
I qualified with a 2:1 BSc Hons in Physiotherapy in 2014 after studying at Manchester Metropolitan University. Since then, I have developed a particular interest working within the field of paediatric physiotherapy.
Over the past 10 years of my career, I have gained vast experience and specialist knowledge through working with children and young adults with an array of complex and multiple neurological, physical and learning needs, including birth injuries and traumatic brain injuries, developmental delay, balance and coordination disorders, musculoskeletal injures and pre and post operative surgeries.
I am qualified in hydrotherapy and rebound therapy and I am a trained moving and handling instructor. I have a full enhanced DBS and I am trained in safeguarding.
I have vast experience of working in multidisciplinary teams both in the NHS and the private sector, working across a range of settings, including schools, homes, community centres, leisure facilities and more.
It’s my absolute passion to empower your child and to enable them to thrive and progress in order to be the best that they can be. I believe every child deserves an enriched quality of life!
That’s why a personalised service, tailored to your child’s needs is at the forefront of the High Peak Children’s Physiotherapy ethos. I ensure I explain everything in relation to your child’s care, allowing you to make informed decisions and to be a crucial part of their journey.
I am passionate about building a positive relationship with your child to enable them to feel happy, safe and comfortable, allowing them to participate fully in their therapy, paving the way for progress. I believe that this is crucial in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for your child!
